I’ve just been made aware some scammers operating under the name of “Amazon Kindle Network” are touting their alleged and entirely fictional market services on my behalf.

I have nothing to do with these mendacious scum, and any use of my name or book titles is completely fraudulent, as are any claims of them assisting me in any way.  I wish these d-bags were closer at hand so I might have a personal chat with them.

I do recommend any  writer who is approached regarding “services” or ghost-writing or “help publishing” first refer to the excellent “Writer’s Beware Blog” to research the vendor or agent or provider, (whatever term they use to peddle their services).

Second, there are fine Facebook groups dedicated to honest and ethic self-publishing careers, among them “20 Books to 50K,” which has a wealth of resources for writers, both new and established.

It’s tough enough being a writer without dirtbag parasites like these folks.
